Walgreens Deals This Week! *Purchased February 11, 2011*

Well, this week I was able to go shopping on a Sunday, which made me happy, although nothing I really needed had any good RR's with them, so they were all still in stock! HAHA Oh well! Can't win them all!! I did take my oldest son shopping with me, and he found a Bey Blade Toy for $9.99 he wanted, and even offered to give me his $10 Gift Card for it when we got home. I told him there was no need, however he insisted, he pay for it himself, in some fashion, which I was very proud of! :-D
This week I didnt get too much, and only had 1 transaction! Can you believe it!? LOL I have $2 in RR to use next week though! Yay me!!  Let's see what all I got!

(2) AirWick Scented Oil Refills (on sale for 2/$5 and I had 2 $1 off coupons, making them $1.50 each)
(2) Air Wick Scented Oil Warmers ( FREE with purchase of the oil - however I goofed and only got one free.. one was with a nightlight, and it was $1.99, but its ok, the boys needed a new nightlight in their room, and this will also keep the "Boy Smell" out! HAHA

My total OOP was $22.46 (with the $10 toy for my son, so really only about $12.46 for my stuff!) I had $.50 in Wags Coupons, $1.49 Wags Discount Savings, $16.47 on Wags Advertised Savings, and $14.99 in Manufacturer Coupons for a total savings of $33.45!!

I do believe I did pretty well on this trip, too, although Im not sure where my additional RR came from!? I thought I was only getting $1 from the Hair Color.. am I missing something?! lol she gave me 2.. lol

Savings at Schnucks Today!! 2-11-11

Well, I am usually cautious about taking my husband and kids shopping with me, as I usually end up spending more than I want to, this trip was no exception, but we still did really well, considering! HAHA. Going into this trip, I was aware that I would get an additional $5 back if I spent $20 or more on Progresso Soups, Fiber ONe Bars, and Cheerios, so I found all the proper coupons, and I went for it! It turned out pretty well! Of course, I got the whole.. "Why do we need 4 boxes of cereal?" question, lol, and when I answered with, "It makes it cheaper!" I got a less than confused face lol. Then after the trip I showed the kids the receipt and explained all the money we had saved and both were pretty excited, and thought I was extra cool! :-D So, without further wait, here we go into my grocery list!!

(1) Gallon of Skim Milk -$3.39
(1) Honey Nut Cheerios - $1.77   ($1 off 2 boxes making them $1.27 each)
(1) Multi Grain Cheerios - $1.77
(2) Cheerios Oat Cluster - $3.54   ($1 off 2 boxes making them $1.27 each)
(1) Nabisco Chocolate Chunky Cookies - $1.88   (had $1 off with a gallon of milk making them $.88)
(6) Yoplait Yogurts - $.54/each = $3.24  ($.40 *doubled* $.80 making them $.41 each)
(8) Progresso Soups - $1.25 each = $10 ((2) $1 off 4 cans = $8 making them $1 can)
(1) Schnucks Brand Shredded Parmesan Cheese - $1.97
(1) Pedigree DentaStix - $3.50 ($2 coupon making it $1.50)

(2) Land O Frost Lunch Meat - $4.89 each = $9.78 (had only 1 $.55 coupon making them $4.61 each)
(4) Nesquick Fat Free Chocolate Milks ((2) BOGO coupons - making all 4 of them only $.68 each)
(1) Simply Orange Orange Juice - $3 ($1 Coupon making it only $2)
(1) Bunch of Bananas - $.54/lb Totaling $1.25
(1) Bag of Dog Chow - $10.99 ($1 coupon making it $9.99)

Subtotal was $78.61, saved $16.74 in Vendor Coupons, and $20.37 in Price Reductions for a grand total of $37.11 in savings, and only $61.87 OOP!! Did pretty good for the kids and hubster along for the ride! haha

I then had the $5 coupon back to use on the other order, as I wanted to use the $5 on the same trip, just to save a little more. :-D

I did some shopping at Schnucks today and made out with some pretty sweet deals! I was very happy! Some buys were strictly for the Superbowl, and not normal buys, but it still turned out AMAZING!

(2) bags of Knorr Side Dishes - On sale for $1 bag and I had a $.50 off 2 coupon = $.75/bag
(6) cups of Cesar Dog Food - On sale for $.80 a cup and I had a BOGO and also a B3G1 = $.53/cup
(2) bags of Baby Ready To Eat Carrots - on sale for $1/bag

I saved $10.99 in coupons and $29.57 in store sales, for a GRAND TOTAL SAVINGS OF $40.56,  AND ONLY $44.42 OOP!! That is what I consider a good shopping trip!!

Walgreens Deals This Week! *Purchased February 3, 2011*

Transaction #1 - 2 Therma Care Heat Wraps on sale for $5.99 each, and $5 RR when you buy two! I had 2 coupons for $3 off each, so they were $2.99 each, $6.48 OOP with $5RR! *savings of $8*

 

Transaction #2 - Arnica Pain Relief Gel was on sale for $5.99 with a $6RR, and i used the $5RR from the Therma Care making this transaction only $1.07OOP  *savings of $8.50*

Transaction #3 - Gillette Fusion Razor 9.99 with a $4RR, and I had a $4 coupon, and also a bottle of Palmolive, $1.99, with a $1 In store coupon.  I used the $6 RR from the Pain Cream, making this only $1.06 OOP! *$12 savings*

Transaction #4 - (2) Got 2B Freezing Sprays $5.49 B1G1 (not on my list, but i just my last bit of mine this morning, and couldnt pass it up!) Dove Deodorant, Dove body wash, Dove Mens Bodywash, Dove Hairspray -Dove items were 4/$15 with $5RR with them. (2) boxes of Breath Right Strips, I had 2 Catalina Rewards for FREE boxes of Breath Right Strips! I also had coupons for the Dove items, 4 coupons totaling $5.25. My total OOP was $12.14. *savings of $34.28*

Transaction #5 -  (2) bags of Butterfinger Snackerz on sale for $.39 each, (2) 2ct packs of the Energizer AA  Rechargable Batteries, on sale for $5.99 each, and a Bottle of Palmolive Detergent on sale for $.99. I had a $1 coupon off 2 butterfinger snackerz, which was like a $.22 money maker(!), and the $5RR from the dove items. The total OOP on this one was $8.39. *Total Savings of $17.41*

This was a great trip to Walgreens! I got my regular cashier, and I must admit I miss her when she isnt there! She is so kind and makes sure i use all the coupons I have! She is a DOLL!! So i paid a total OOP of $29.12 and saved a total of $80.19!! AWESOME!!!

Weekend Savings1/28-1/30

I had gone a few places this weekend, but we were so utterly busy, I didnt get a chance to get pics, but I still wanted to let you guys know everything I got!

I made a quick run into Walgreens and grabbed two Renzuit cones, both I had FREE cone coupons that I had won over at Tammilee Tips, and I also had a coupon for $1.25 off 3 boxes of Jello that I had found on the back of a recipe book at schnucks. Walgreens had their jello on sale for $.50 a box this week, so I got 3 boxes, and used my coupon, and I only pd $.25 for it all!! I was happy and the lady just laughed! lol

 

I ran by Dollar General yesterday and enjoyed myself in the Christmas Clearance Aisle! I always find myself short of bows, and always forget to get xmas cards until its too late to send them out, but not next year... or quite possibly the next few years! lol  I got 4 bags of bows, equaling 150 bows, and  i believe 4 boxes of xmas cards, and i got like 6 ornaments. I also grabbed some Olay Body Wash that was on sale for $2, and I used my $2 coupons that expired today, so i got those free too! Today is my MIL's b-day, so i had to grab her a card. My lovely total was $5.07! I was excited, as allt he christmas clearance was $.25 each!!

Transaction #1 - AquaFresh Kids Toothpaste - no coupon, but the kids needed some new toothpaste and it was on sale for $1.99.
                         Campbells Chicken Noodle Soup - on sale for $.49
                          3 boxes of Jello - on sale for $.50/box
                          Brut Deodorant - on sale for $1.50 and I had a $1 coupon. 

I also had a $3RR from last week making the total OOP for this transaction $1.60


Transaction #2 - (2) 1 Liter Bottles of Crest Pro-Health Complete - They were on sale for $4.99 with a $2 in store coupon, and I had (2) $2 coupons from the 12/26 P&G inserts, making them $.99 each.
                            (4) Hershey's Dark Chocolate with Almonds - Hersheys was on sale this week for $.49 each and I had (2) BOGO for Hershey's Dark Chocolate, making them $.25 each.
                            (1) Listerine Agent Cool Blue Pre Brush Kids Rinse. It was on sale for $2.99 and I had a $1 coupon.
                            (1) Campbell's Soup - on sale $.49

  I also used a $2RR left over from last week, this made the total OOP on this order only $3.30!

Now I must say, there was no one at the cosmetic counter, so I was forced to go up front, where a mgr. looking guy was checking out. This is the first time I had had contact with him, and it was nothing short of negative. I had a BOGO for Stayfree and he refused to take it because it wouldnt scan, so I let him know if he couldnt type it in, I was no longer interested in them, so he threw them down on the floor! Then he was very rude to say the least with the remainder of the transaction! He was pulling items out of bags and checking every little oz. and ct. on my products! Now, I understand, people try to cheat the system, but c'mon! He was being so ignorant and rude. I assume I will walk around aimlessly from here on out until someone shows up at the cosmetics counter!  But overall, I had a great trip! Under $5 spent!!

Amazing Walgreens Deals this week purchased on 1/20

This week I had to wait until today to go to Walgreens. I was afraid I wouldnt be able to find everything on my list, and while some things where not available, I got most of what I wanted!

My retail total of products was $117.32, I paid $23.52 out of pocket, and I still have $5 in RR to use on my next trip! Lets see what all I got this week!

Transaction #1 - ThermaCare Neck/Arm Heat Wraps - On sale for $2.50 with $2.50RR.
                          Reservitrol Max Dots Dietary Supplement $9.99 with IVC of $9.99
The max dots were FREE and I had a $1 off coupon for ThermaCare making it $1.62 OOP and $2.50 back in Rewards.

Transaction #2 - Gillette ProGlide Fusion Razor - On sale for $9.99. I have a $4 coupon making it $5.99 and it comes with $5 RR - so it ends up being $.99!! Then a FILLER was a $.49 bag of candy on sale this week! I also used the $2.50RR from the ThermaCare making this order $4.26OOP with $5RR.

Transaction #3 - I got the Appetite Control Spray. It was on sale for $10 with a $10RR. I used the $5RR from the razor and paid $5.40 OOP with a $10RR.

Transaction #4 I got 2Dayquils, 2 Nyquils,- they were on sale for $5 each. with purchase of $20 or more you got a $10RR. PLUS I had (2) $3 off coupons for when you buy 1dayquill and 1Nyquill together. So I got $6 off that making it $14 and a bag of Walgreens Twizzlers that were on sale for $.49 for a FILLER and used the $10RR from the appetite spray and payed only $4.81 OOP with a $10RR..

Transaction #5 I got 1Pantene Shampoo and 1 Pantene Conditioner. They were on sale for 2/$7, I had a $2 coupon making it 2/$5, and then there was a $2RR to come with it as well. I also got some Tom's Mouthwash on sale for $3.99 with a $3RR. Skintimate Shave Cream was on sale for $1.99 and I had a $1 coupon, making it $.99. Gatorade was on sale for 5/$4 and there was a $1 off 5 gatorades making them $.60 each. A FILLER bag of chocolate covered Raisins for $.49, a pack of 6 Double rolls of Charmin Basic TP for 2.99 and i had a $.25 coupon making it $2.74. With all my coupons and the $10RR i ended paying only $7.43OOP and i got $5RR to spend on my next trip!!

All in all, this trip went very well! I was sad they didnt have any homestyle mac n cheese i was wanting, but most everything i wanted was there.
